Family Renew, Deland: A Hand Up... Not A Handout. Childhood only comes once, and no child should spend any of it caught up in family homelessness. Family Renew Community brings together religious congregations, businesses, civic and charitable organizations and individuals committed to solving homelessness in Volusia County. The program provides housing and helps homeless parents on a path toward supporting their families in places of their own.

The Men’s Club volunteered to support the Women’s Club prepare the outdoor area for a new donated play set by the Women’s Club. It was a day of initial cleanup and installing mulch.

The finished product after a days work! Much enjoyment will be had by the children living there.

Victoria Gardens Clubhouse Workday’s

The Men’s Club volunteered to do some much needed tasks around the Victoria Gardens Clubhouse by power-washing the building exterior and brick walkways. We installed and maintain walking trails lights, maintain the Clubhouse Flag Pole and American Flag along with installing a Veteran’s Recognition “Brick” patio around the flagpole.

Washing wood siding, hand cleaning light fixtures…and more!

The Neighborhood Center, Deland

Our mission is to provide food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless and prevent homelessness.

The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia was founded in 1969 to help the hungry and homeless. The Neighborhood Center began when the Board of Directors purchased an old house on Woodland Boulevard in DeLand, Florida — the exact location at which we stand today. Over the years, the agency has expanded services and programs to meet the increased needs of the community.

The Men’s Club in Conjunction with the Women’s Club of Victoria Gardens has donated food to The Neighborhood Center through our Shredding Event.
